With the drastic participation of authorities at all levels and functional sectors, the management and protection of natural resources in Trieu Son district has had positive changes, gradually becoming routine. This is reflected in the process of exploration and exploitation activities, most of the enterprises licensed by the Provincial People’s Committee to exploit natural resources have actively completed legal procedures, strictly complied with the contents of the license and regulations of the law. Along with fully notifying the date of starting basic construction of the mine, the exploitation plan, the enterprises exploiting natural resources have also proactively submitted the mine design, established and marked the exploitation area, and periodically reported the exploitation of natural resources to the district.Regarding environmental protection, the district assigned communes and towns to monitor, inspect and urge mineral exploitation enterprises to strictly implement measures to reduce noise, dust, handle sediment, exploit within the prescribed time, and use means suitable to infrastructure conditions in mineral exploitation, processing and transportation activities in the area. If the exploitation, processing and transportation process affects people, enterprises must take timely measures to resolve the issue. Thanks to that, the mineral exploitation of Trieu Son district is managed and used more and more effectively, economically and effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the locality and the province. For example, the exploitation of TNKS as construction materials by licensed enterprises has made a positive contribution to solving difficulties in the source of filling materials for projects and key traffic works in the province and district. Since then, many projects and works have been completed on schedule, thoroughly solving the poor traffic infrastructure in many areas, increasing connectivity and communication between urban areas and rural highlands, between developed areas and underdeveloped areas of the province and district. The exploitation of TNKS as construction materials in the district has also created many jobs for local workers and contributed a large source of revenue to the State budget.
